Devlog — the story so far
Every game starts as an empty folder. This week, ours got its first commit.
Before a single weapon fires, a project needs a spine — the way the code is organised, the way decisions get made, the pillars the whole thing will be judged against. That is what this week was: the studio, the repository, and the plan.
Blood of Rations is a WW2 extraction shooter. Solo PvPvE raids in 1944 occupied Europe. No minimap, no markers, no music — your headset is your radar. A Tetris-grid inventory where every slot is a decision. An extraction window that leaves you visible and vulnerable for eight long seconds. And a bunker you bring everything home to.
That is the shape we are building toward. The weeks that follow are how we get there.
New here? Blood of Rations is a WW2 extraction shooter — solo PvPvE raids in 1944 occupied Europe, Early Access on Steam 5 November 2026. If this is your kind of game, wishlist it on Steam. It is still the number that matters.
