Patch 0.1.2 — two soldiers, one world

Key art for Patch 0.1.2 — two soldiers, one world

The week the game became multiplayer. Two soldiers, one synced world — and a damage the server, not the client, decides.

New

  • The first kill over the wire. Combat is server-authoritative: you fire, the server resolves the hit, and health and death replicate to everyone in the raid.
  • Remote players render as soldiers — bodies that aim, fire, reload, and fall.
  • The bunker, reborn. A full rebuild into the Hearth: a Regelbau layout, crafting, a trophy wall, offline production, and a vault that unlocks.
  • A third-person soldier with a full set of animations.
  • The first animated view models — the Kar98k’s bolt-and-stripper-clip reload, the M1911 — and low-poly models for more of the arsenal.

Changes

  • In-raid inventory moves under server authority, the first step toward a fair economy online.
  • Weapon, armor, and ammo all resolve server-side.

Known issues

  • Netcode is freshly live and being hardened raid by raid.

New here? Blood of Rations is a WW2 extraction shooter — solo PvPvE raids in 1944 occupied Europe, Early Access on Steam 5 November 2026. If this is your kind of game, wishlist it on Steam. It is still the number that matters.
